If we had to write the script for 2020 we would not have been able to dream this up!
We started off the year super strong with large crowds at our First Friday dinners, Sunday morning teffilin bash, and of course Purim with over 450 YJPs celebrating in The Living Room at night, as well as a fun entertainer for the little ones by day.
And then overnight the world went mad. The isolation. The layoffs. The health and well-being of so many put us all on edge. The uncertainty has created anxiety like we have never seen before.
But what became certain was that whatever it takes, The Living Room will be here and spread love and kindness more than ever. Whether through Holiday in a Box and fresh challah deliveries, zoom events, one-on-one learning, building a safe rooftop deck to accommodate outdoor social events, or delivering hundreds of boxes of food on a weekly basis, the kindness is far-reaching and affected more people than ever.
So as some of our donors had to cut back we are reaching out to you to Kindle your Kindness by stretching further to help us help others.
