JRA

  • We are so happy to be able to continue providing hundreds of Kosher meals for all children across the state, free of charge.

In an effort to help farmers combat their oversupply of milk and cut back on food wastage, we began offering free milk to all who requested. In the weeks since we have been working to make more food and other essentials available to the community. The Jewish Relief Agency (JRA) - Kids Wellness Initiative is available to all families with children 18 and under. In order to accommodate everybody and to plan accordingly for the number of meals needed, it is important to hear back from you.

Each package contains 7 breakfasts and 7 lunches for each child. Breakfast and lunch menus include all of the recommended USDA child nutritional requirements. All meals are packaged together in a large box. Families with more than 5 children will receive 2 boxes of meals. Additionally, we include a large box of fruit and vegetable produce for each family.

These meal packages are available free of charge for all children 1-18 who are home and not receiving meals in school or from another site. There are no income eligibility requirements or location restrictions to receive free meals.

Pick up is every Wednesday at 9pm at the back of The Living Room in the alleyway.

    1632 N. Milwaukee Ave, Chicago.

No need to exit your car; you just pop your trunk and we place it in your vehicle.

Feel free to share with friends and neighbors.
Thank you to our volunteers and transport sponsors.
